On February 26, First will be teaming with River Community Church, Abounding Love Ministries and South Baton Rouge Presbyterian Church to begin work on our third Habitat for Humanity house. First Pres is honored to be partnered with fellow Baton Rouge churches to serve those of our city.

We are please to call this year's home the "Dana House."  Dana Othmer is a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church who in years past has given sweat equity into each of our builds.  We will miss her this year as she is in God's grip in a heart attack induced coma.  We will think of Dana as we assist Dennica Pania, Habitat homeowner, with her new house.

As we draw closer to the build dates (February 26 - March 13, 2010), things will be picking up speed.  The number of volunteers for each day is limited so be sure to register as soon as possible to get the days that work best for you.
