Elementary Sunday-at-a-Glance

Welcome

K - 3rd grade children are greeted in the hallway on the 2nd floor of the Education Building. They will get a nametag at our sign-in table and meet a small group leader who will introduce them to other children their age and show them where to sit for our Large Group time.

Large Group

This important time begins at 10:15 each Sunday morning. In Large group, the children participate in meaningful worship and hear a Bible story presented in a way that is both memorable and relevant to their modern lives.  Watch out! You may be shocked by how much your child actually enjoys and knows his or her Bible lessons!

Small Group

This is one of the most important times of the morning...because this is when our small group leaders get the chance to get to know every child individually. The children break into age divided small groups (The same groups each week, with the same teachers each week) to pray, learn, and laugh together. We want every child who comes into Kingdom Kids to know that there is a place for him or her in the Kingdom and that someone who knows and loves them will be there each week. This small group leader will review the Bible story and guide the children through games and activities that reinforce the bottom line of that week’s Bible story.

3 Basic Truths

By the time our children leave this department, we want them to know, without a doubt, that:

    1.I should treat others the way I want to be treated.  
    2. I can trust God no matter what. 
    3. I need to make the wise choice.
