SISSY GOFF

Sissy Goff, M.Ed., LPC-MHSP has worked as the Director of Child and Adolescent Counseling and the Director of Summer Programs at Daystar since 1993. Sissy is a regular guest of OnTheHomeStretch.com and has been a guest on television and radio programs across the United States and Canada. She is a frequent contributor to ParentLife magazine.

A sought after speaker to parents and girls of all ages, Sissy is a featured speaker at Lifeway’s You and Your Girl events.
She lives with her Havanese, Lucy, in Nashville.

DAVID THOMAS

David Thomas, M.S.W., is the Director of Counseling for Men and Boys at Daystar Counseling in Nashville, TN.  He is the co-author of five books, including Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys (Tyndale House Publishers, 2009).

David is a frequent guest on national television and radio shows and has written for numerous publications.  He is a frequent speaker on Nurturing Boys, Parenting Adolescents, and Raising Kids of Character. He did his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Tennessee.  He and his wife, Connie, have three children and a black lab named Jonah.

 

STEPHEN JAMES

Stephen James is a private practice psychotherapist and organizational consultant inNashville, TN. He speaks frequently on the topics of marriage and relationships, sexual integrity, servant leadership, and spiritual authenticity. He is a founding member and a fellow at Sage Hill institute and initiative for authentic Christian leadership and has served as a pastor at Fellowship Bible Church and as an adjunct therapist for Bethesda Workshops.

Stephen earned his Masters in counseling from Mars Hill Graduate School at Western Seminary Seattle and his undergraduate degree in English from Belmont University in Nashville. He lives in Nashville with his wife Heather, their four children and a half-blind chocolate lab named Mattie.

EMILY AND SCOTT SOULE

Scott and Emily Soule have been married for a little over a year but have been working with students for about 10 years.
Emily was a full time youth pastor at First Presbyterian Church Baton Rouge and now serves at Grace Life Fellowship Baton Rouge. She loves students and has devoted many hours to understanding their culture and how to help parents and students communicate and stay connected through adolescence.

Scott was an intern at Chapel on the Campus Baton Rouge and served as a youth pastor at Island Evangelical Community Church in Hong Kong. He now works for Custom Accounting Solutions, does website development, and is a computer guru!
