__ Clear a wedding date with the church Wedding Coordinator who will then secure your date with the Pastor of your choice.

__ Complete the wedding information sheet that will be mailed in your wedding packet. Your wedding date will not be placed on the church calendar until the information sheet is completed and returned to the church office.

__ Make an appointment with the Wedding Coordinator to review policies in wedding booklet.

__ Sign up with the Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center for the on-line engagement seminar.(225-387-2287)

__ Set counseling appointments with your Pastor.

__ It is understood that the bride and groom will contact the E.B.R. Parish Clerk of Court for information about your marriage license.  (225-389-3950)  First Presbyterian Church encourages Covenant Marriages. 

__ Your wedding fees are due two weeks before your wedding date.

__ Remember, church doors open two hours before wedding ceremony

__ Pray and give thanks to God for this new chapter in your life!
