GUIDELINES FOR USE OF OUR SANCTUARY AND THE DUNHAM CHAPEL
Whereas, the Sanctuary and the Dunham Chapel are dedicated to the glory of God for the worship of God, the propagation of the faith, and the mutual comfort and strength of those who believe, we, therefore, recommend the following guidelines for use of these facilities be adopted:
a. The sanctuary and the chapel are the usual places of worship for our church, and this should be thought of whenever they are used.
b. Session approval is to be obtained for any use of either the sanctuary or the chapel other than normal worship, weddings, and funerals.
c. No furniture or fixtures, other than chairs or tables, are to be moved or altered without the consent of the session.
d. Items of significant weight are not to be put on the pews, pulpit or pulpit railings without the consent of the session.
e. Food or drink shall not be brought into either the sanctuary or the chapel without prior session approval.
f. Tickets are not to be sold for any presentation in either the sanctuary or the chapel without prior session approval.
g. The sanctuary and/or the chapel shall be restored to their normal arrangement after any use, and any extra equipment is to be removed.
h. When weddings or funerals are conducted in either the sanctuary or the chapel, it shall be required that at least one of our ministers shall officiate in the ceremony.
