Drama Ministry

At First Presbyterian we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is where everything sad comes untrue. Our Creative Arts Ministry devotes itself to producing quality programs that present this truth in unique ways the whole family can enjoy. For nearly twenty years we have regularly produced musicals and dramas that are classics, as well as our own original scripts. The whole church family has the opportunity to be involved as we present shows that differ in tone from the dramatic to the hilarious. Some of these include: Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Sound of Music, Veggie Tales Review, Fiddler on the Roof, Narnia, Roots & Promises (ORIGINAL), Jacob’s Follies (Original), and Godspell. 

Each musical is presented using talent straight from our congregation! There are a myriad of ways to get involved; from leading roles to backstage help! If you are interested in getting involved, email Lauren Honea.
